Over this past season, we have noticed that many couples are shying away from the traditional sit down dinners and going towards more interactive personalized stations for their guests to enjoy.
Top wedding food trends: Themed stations, fun key ingredients, and comfort foods (our Martini Mashed Potato Bar is always a hit!). Chef attendants making food to order, and customized items to play into a theme of your event or cultural background.
Brunch meal service has also been very popular recently. This meal service style offers fun foods and light fare that are relatable to every guest.
We have seen that Plated or Sit down dinners are more common in Northern regions, while stations and buffet style main meals are more common in the South. Plated dinners offer a more formal feel to your event, while stations packages inspire a mingling atmosphere that works perfectly for a cocktail style event.
At Lesner Inn, we give clients the option to choose from a variety of meal service styles offered within our Brunch, Afternoon, or Evening packages. We also offer the ability to piece together a menu of your choice from our extensive list of hors d’oeuvres, stations, and platters. You can upgrade one of our standard packages with the addition of a Chef attended station, or plan an event filled with fun finger foods, or desserts.
